However, it seems that the evil nun is not done with her yet, as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force in a new adventure.

According to the official synopsis, Sister Irene will team up with a new character named Kate (Anna Popplewell), a young woman who has a mysterious connection to Valak. Together, they will travel to a remote convent in France, where they will uncover a dark secret that could unleash hell on earth.

Alechan The Nun 2021 will see the return of some familiar faces from the previous films, as well as some new additions. Here is the main cast of the movie:

• Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, a nun who has visions of Valak and can communicate with spirits.
• Bonnie Aarons as Valak, the main antagonist of the film and a powerful demon that takes the form of a nun.

Alechan The Nun 2021 is directed by Michael Chaves, who previously helmed The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. He takes over from Corin Hardy, who directed the first film.

The screenplay is written by Akela Cooper, Ian Goldberg, and Richard Naing from a story by Cooper. Cooper has worked on horror projects such as American Horror Story, Luke Cage, and Hell Fest. Goldberg and Naing are best known for writing The Autopsy of Jane Doe and Fear Street Part One: 1994.

The producers are James Wan and Peter Safran, who have been involved in every film of The Conjuring Universe. Wan is also the creator of the franchise and directed the first two Conjuring films. Judson Scott is also serving as a producer.

Alechan The Nun 2021 is scheduled to be theatrically released on September 8, 2023 by Warner Bros. Pictures. It was originally slated for July 11, 2020, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and other production issues.

The film will be competing with other horror releases such as Halloween Ends and Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin.
