Fast X is the tenth and penultimate film in the Fast and Furious franchise, directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Jason Momoa, John Cena, Jason Statham, Rita Moreno, Helen Mirren, Brie Larson, Charlize Theron and more. It is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023.

The film follows Dom Toretto and his family as they face their most dangerous enemy yet: Dante, the vengeful son of Hernan Reyes, the drug lord they killed in Fast Five. Dante has been plotting his revenge for 12 years and has assembled a team of ruthless mercenaries to hunt down and destroy Dom and his loved ones. With the help of some old allies and new friends, Dom must race against time to stop Dante’s plan and protect his family.

Fast X is expected to be an action-packed thrill ride that will conclude the epic saga that began in 2001 with The Fast and the Furious. Fans can expect to see spectacular stunts, exotic locations, fast cars, family drama and surprising twists in this final chapter of the Fast Saga.

In a recent interview with Total Film, Rita Moreno revealed how she landed the role of Abuela Toretto, Dom’s grandmother, in Fast X. She said that her grandson, Justin, who is a big fan of the franchise, told Vin Diesel to cast her as his on-screen grandma. Diesel, who had met Moreno before and admired her work, agreed and offered her the part. Moreno said she was thrilled to join the Fast family and to play a strong and feisty character who loves her grandson unconditionally.

Another new addition to the cast is Brie Larson, who plays Tess, a mysterious hacker who helps Dom and his crew in their mission. Larson said that she was drawn to the role because of the challenge of playing a character who is not what she seems. She also said that she enjoyed working with Diesel and the rest of the cast, who made her feel welcome and supported. Larson said that she had a lot of fun filming the action scenes and driving fast cars.

On the other hand, Jason Momoa, who plays Dante, the main antagonist of the film, said that he had a blast playing a villain who is motivated by revenge and hatred. He said that he wanted to create a character who is ruthless and relentless, but also has a human side that explains his actions. He said that he had a great chemistry with Diesel and that they had some intense confrontations on screen. Momoa also praised Leterrier’s direction and vision for the film.
